Everything about the new Levelogger 5 design focuses on providing high-quality water level data our customers can rely on, with all of the accuracy and ease of use expected from Solinst.

The Levelogger 5 is a self contained water level datalogger, using infra-red data transfer powered by a 10 year lithium battery, offering the flexibility of installing by use of a Direct Read Cable, wireline or Kevlar cord. The Levelogger 5 has a memory capacity of 150,000 temperature and water level data points.

The Levelogger 5 records highly accurate groundwater and surface water level and temperature measurements. It combines a pressure sensor, temperature detector, 10-year lithium battery,
and datalogger, sealed within a 22 mm x 160 mm (7/8″ x 6.3″) stainless steel housing with a corrosion-resistant coating baked-on using polymerization technology.

The Levelogger 5 measures absolute pressure using a Hastelloy® pressure sensor, offering high resolution and an accuracy of 0.05% FS. Readings are stable in extreme pressure and temperature conditions. The Hastelloy sensor can withstand 2 times over-pressure without permanent damage. Combined with the durable coating inside and out, the Levelogger 5 has high corrosion and abrasion resistance in harsh environments.

The Levelogger 5 uses a Faraday cage design, which protects against power surges or electrical spikes caused by lightning. Its durable maintenance-free design, high accuracy and stability, make the Levelogger 5 the most reliable instrument for long-term, continuous water level recording.

3001 Levelogger 5 Junior

For important projects with a tight budget, Levelogger 5 Junior provides a cost-effective solution for continuous water level and temperature measurement. It is simple to program with user-friendly software, and easy to deploy with Direct Read Cables or wireline/Kevlar cord and the Levelogger Locking Well Cap. It features a Hastelloy pressure sensor, battery that lasts up to 5 years, and memory for 75,000 sets of readings. Accuracy is 0.1% FS with lifetime calibration. Levelogger 5 Junior is SDI-12 compatible, as is the higher accuracy Levelogger 5.

3001 Levelogger 5 LTC

The Levelogger 5 LTC combines conductivity, pressure and temperature sensors in one compact device. It comes complete with a battery that lasts up to eight years and datalogger with memory for 100,000 sets of readings. The 4-electrode platinum conductivity sensor has autoranging from 50 to 80,000 µS/cm for maximum accuracy. A PFAS-free PTFE coating and Hastelloy pressure sensor protect the instrument from corrosion.

Level, Temperature, Conductivity

The Levelogger® 5 LTC logs water level, temperature, and conductivity. It combines a datalogger, 8-year battery, Hastelloy® pressure sensor, temperature detector, and conductivity sensor within a small waterproof housing, 22 mm x 208 mm (7/8″ x 8.2″). A baked-on coating using polymerization technology protects the body against corrosion, abrasion and high temperatures. The conductivity sensor is a 4-electrode platinum sensor, with autoranging capabilities. The minimal-maintenance, sealed Levelogger 5 LTC is simple to clean and calibrate, even in the field.

The Solinst LevelVent 5 is a vented version of our popular Levelogger®. The highly accurate datalogger is designed to record water level and temperature measurements during shallow groundwater and surface water deployments.

The LevelVent 5 logger contains pressure and temperature sensors, a battery, memory for up to 150,000 data logs, and hydrophobic filter within a 22 mm x 173 mm (7/8″ x 6.8″) stainless steel housing with a corrosion-resistant coating.

The LevelVent uses a gauged pressure transducer; it is open to the atmosphere via a vented cable to the wellhead. The compact LevelVent wellhead is designed to fit in a Solinst 2″ Well Cap Assembly, and provides easy connection for communication accessories.

The vented cable and Solinst LevelVent 5 logger are protected from moisture by permanent, built-in desiccants and hydrophobic filters in the logger and the wellhead.

The vented pressure transducer is made of Hastelloy®, making it extremely durable and accurate in a wide range of temperature and monitoring conditions. The sensor provides an accuracy of 0.05% FS, and can withstand 2 times over-pressure without permanent damage.

LevelVent 5 Programming & Communication

The LevelVent 5 is programmed and data downloaded using Solinst Levelogger Software and a PC Interface Cable. It can also be used with the Solinst Levelogger 5 App Interface and DataGrabber 5. Both accessories and PC Interface Cable conveniently connect directly to the LevelVent 5 wellhead.

Integrate the LevelVent 5 with Solinst Telemetry Systems, which use the latest wireless technologies. The LevelVent is also compatible with SDI-12 and MODBUS networks by use of a Solinst SDI-12/MODBUS Interface Cable.

For deeper, hard to access applications, or areas that are prone to flooding, the Levelogger 5 Series of absolute pressure water level dataloggers are also options (see Model 3001 Levelogger 5 Series Data Sheet).
